Ulster BOCES means different things to different people. To Nicholas DelPezzo, Ulster BOCES means the chance to overcome obstacles, become a successful businessman, and contribute to his community by helping the less fortunate.
For Nicholas, life was full of twists, turns, and unexpected challenges growing up. As a child, he recalls going to the grocery store and shopping for food using government subsidized food stamps. At school he had trouble concentrating and difficulty getting along with his classmates. Then, the Ulster BOCES Center for Alternative Education came into his life.
